VORTEX arises as a result of detecting in the market the lack of a product that goes beyond in the interaction with the client. We not only sell a garment, we offer a before and an after, an experience closely related to the black and that gives a new use to the clothes the clients believed they don’t need anymore .
The experience that we transmitted, from the beginning, was related to a journey for us. The idea evolved more towards a multisensory experience and interacting with the clients transforming their garments.
We also allowing them to enter a trip that portrays new life of non desired garments. Where people see waste, VORTEX's perspective shows new life.
The tool of Photography is fundamental to transmit this multisensory experience. The different perspectives that VORTEX captures, reach the dynamism, the action and the essence of the journey. The illumination is not aggressive, it shows a direction, but it respects the garment and the surroundings. These technique, facilitate the description of the destination of the journey that we propose.
Black is a fundamental tool of the project. It allows us to transmit more easily the sensation of mystery, which arises by showing only small flashes of the surroundings. Inspired by Balenciaga, the forerunner of Spanish fashion, we believe black is able to show the true relief of clothes.
